Halloween!

Of course one of the biggest and most widespread celebrations of October is Halloween, and weather you are planning a party at the house for the little one's or joining a neighborhood Halloween parade or trick-or-treating door to door, getting ready for Halloween is such a big part of the fun.

Deciding on a costume takes some thinking, and often changes a few times before the final day. But it's fun to see how the choices evolve from year to year and as the kids get older, and, a great way to commemorate the memories of this fun holiday is to make a keepsakes album just for Halloween. It becomes it's own story book of interesting characters to say the least. Perhaps you could even have the kids write their own little story or drawings about their character each year.

Another part of the fun is of course the decorating, and for those who really put on a show, a keepsakes album of each years set up becomes a great treasure to pass on to the next generation.

Let's not forget about the CANDY!...  with safety in mind, homemade candies are kept only for those you know well, and candy manufactures have done a great job creating "safe" wrapped candies for handing out. There are still many ways to give these candies a personal touch, and one of the easiest is with use of stickers.
