By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer's best of weather
And autumn's best of cheer.
The month of September may be the 9th month in the calendar year but it's also the first month of Autumn and for many, the beginning of the new school year. Virgo's and Libra's are celebrating their new year also. It's a wonderful time of year for making the transition from the long hot lazy day's of summer to "buckling down", getting motivated and taking on new and exhilarating challenges.
While the weather is still comfortable warm, mornings begin feeling refreshingly crisp and cool. September offers a wonderful season for enjoying the outdoors, and farmers markets are bustling with harvested crops.
We will be celebrating this entire month and here are some special dates:
- Patriotic Day - 9/11
- National Grandparents day -9/12
- National Stepfamily day - 9/16
- Talk like a pirate day! - 9/19 http://www.talklikeapirate.com
- World Peace Day - 9/21
- 1st Day of Autumn, Autumnal Equinox - 9/22
To get us started, here are some great ideas from our fabulous Zazzlers:
Take a picture of that special moment when your child is off for their first day of school. Let the memories last and you can send this card to all the people who couldn't be there to send them off. These cute back to school photo cards are great to give out to all your friend and neighbors to show off their first day of school.
Be positive! Here's a great tote bag design using motivational word art that could subtly and subconsciously help you improve your outlook and attitude. Get a subtle positive boost each time you look at them!!

And leaves in my fur
